Just think, I consider it a hassle to lay a M1 and M2 on the floor.................He even has a turntable..... I guess space constraints is something you make up in your head..........based on what he has done.....lol

Actually it is much more permanent that most Japanese layouts. Most layouts last little longer than an evening or a weekend.

yeah i love the idea that a few guys get together for a weekend or evening and throw together a layout on the living room floor (probably until the other half comes home...) to run trains. this was what the first jrm layout was designed to do, but we got lazy and settled on one track plan to do for the shows, it was just too hard to do it all on the fly with new plans at a show.
