FWIW, the AE100-series is now on "Cityliner" service…not sure exactly what that is (wasn't exactly advertised in English when I was at Keisei Ueno booking tickets on the AE-series "Skyliner" earlier this month).

Hi CaptOblivious,  The Cityliner appears to  run over the old Airport- KeiseiUeno route using the old skyliner rollingstock, but now also stops at Aoto. There are now many different Keisei named trains running between NArita Airport and Aoto at different ticket prices and run times. You can change at Aoto and get then on an Asakusa underground line train to take you into Tokyo  ,usually just by crossing the platform. This is quite handy if you stay at a Hotel on the Asakusa line. To make it tricky there were also a couple of trains that go straight through , from the Airport on the Asakusa line. I always check on www.hyperdia.com first. I have never seen many Western tourists on this asakusa line  run into Tokyo from the airport.
cheers....Eisenbahn

In the future, things will get even more complicated when the line from Oshiage to Tokyo station to Sengakuji (Asakusa subway line 1) will be opened: http://www.mifuru.to/frdb/project/prst-c.htm and: http://www10.atpages.jp/panzerfalcon/mousou/setsubi.htm (red line). I think this connection will almost destroy the NE'X service from JR, especially when they'll have a direct express Narita/Chiba - Tokyo - Yokohama/Haneda connection.

I suspect you are probably correct. Personally, I like the notion of a future direct train service from Narita to Henada.

There is already a direct and fast connection from Narita to Haneda by Access Express (アクセス特急), but not still run with regular stock. These services are however only ran with stock capable of going 130km/h (such as the especially constructed 3050 Type 2nd series from Keisei and 600 Type 3rd series from Keikyu).
