Great video, thanks for sharing.  I don't know if its the same in France, Spain, Germany, or Japan (less likely for many reasons), but it seems our biggest obstacle to HSR is political (are there political parties in those countries that oppose things like HSR - or rather, the necessary public investment to build it? Curious what our non-US forum members have to say on that).
