A lecture by the chief engineer of HS2 in the U.K.  I haven't seen the whole bit, but the sections I have viewed are very interesting and substantive technically to satisfy my curiousity.  Brief mention is made of Japanese operating practices, specifically timekeeping, headways, and train length.
