Need help! For the TCS Automatic Operation Unit, can I use a Kato power unit? Or does it require a Tomix one?

If you are willing to make Frankenstein conversion cables, you can probably supply the Tomix TCS controller from the Kato pack's train power, plus a constant 12 VDC for powering the controller's internal electronics. The variable train power goes to the TCS controller's white connector cable and the constant 12 VDC power goes to the black connector cable. Be sure to get the polarity right on the black connector connection. The white receptacle on the controller is where the train power goes out to the track.

Thanks guys! I was checking to see if I can save on buying a Tomix power unit. Considering, that the setup is going to be simple on this project, I won't need AAR3 since it is an overkill for the simple setup I am planning.
