Hello.

We recently purchased a Trix Torpedo ladle car (it's incredibly heavy) and the instructions state that before running the car we need to lube the axles.  As it is right now, the car and its 20 axles doesn't roll real well.  The instructions wants us to use Trix "Special Oil".

I doubt that

a) I'm going to (easily) find Trix "special oil" and
b) I'm not crazy about buying what will turn out to be several life times worth of Trix "special oil".

Soooo, what lubricant would anyone recommend for lubricating axles?

TIA

That's a lot of axles! I'd recommend getting a bottle of "ACT 3753 Conducta" (just google that phrase). Will last a lifetime, and have lots of other uses too.
