Anyone over here who plays open TTD? there is a complete Japanese conversion for the game (with lots of train in it), Japanese buidlings, vegetation and stuff. the game itself is already dated, but it's still lots of fun to play :).
You can even play it over the internet these days, which is even more fun!

i'll post some pics of my game later :) it's completely (modern) Japan with an Tokyo area...

Akiyuki,
I'm glad you like our work :)

I take it you know about the thread for development on tt-forums, and my Japanese OTTD Server: StevenH's Japan?

dandan and I were working on the "RailTypes" idea of having proper shinkansen/standard-gauge/etc.. but we've both been too busy of late to get it into production.

Feel free to help us out :)

I knew about the treath, following multiple projects at the tt-forums. but never saw the Server... hmm. I think i'm going to look for it and play on it :)

Here some screens from my savegame 'Tokyo' (Which i'm working on for over a month atm...) of course its almost impossible to rebuild tokyo itself in this game, but it will give you the feeling (when its done...)

The main line to Harataima Station 8 tracks wide for normal trains and lower 2 tracks for Shinkansen (I really like the RailRoad difference!)

The Takatsy line (in the middle) and a level above the end of the Shijomae line. Both tracks are used by metro/commuter trains. Also a bit furhter you can see an other Shinkansen station.

if people are interrested, I can of course post more pics of this japanese stuff.
