Japan Rail Modelers is proud to become a part of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum's Holiday Festival of Trains event!

Our layout will be on display at the museum Saturday, December 4th from 10AM - 4PM, and Sunday, December 5th, 2010 from 11AM to 4PM. The Holiday Festival of Trains is a six-week event featuring a number of different model railroads displayed among the real trains in the roundhouse. It's a rare opportunity to experience the JRM layout in the middle of America's most important, historic and comprehensive railroad collection. Layout visit is included with museum admission fee.

See the amazing new JRM layout.
Meet Goji, our lovable giant mascot
Experience the action of Japanese trains
Meet Mathew, our club president with the handlebar mustache
Watch our spectacular shinkansens viaduct (that occasionally derails and 500kph)

All at The Baltimore B&O Roundhouse Museum, be there, or be in jail, and if you're in jail, break out!

Just a followup. we had a great time at the show. we were in the roundhouse with the S gauge group. Lots of little kids, parents and grandparents. Goji was a big hit as usual, we figure we could really make out charging a buck a photo with goji! weather was cold outside, but not too horrible in the roundhouse building.

Nice show to connect with little ones that are interested in railroads. many have never seen japanese trains, but they are always mouth open when they see them! worked on talking to parents to get them to start playing with model trains with their kids as they grow up! kato unitrak was great to encourage some as they were thinking about maybe investing in a small train set, but remembered the problems they had with their own track when they were a kid -- that sold them fast and they thought it well worth a bit more money for it to work well.

cheers

In an odd note, this is the second year we were invited to the B&O, yet both times was in 2010.
