Well.... It's that time of year again, and I have some thoughts for a (gasp) LAYOUT. Yes Yes, but this time I will thoroughly plan and create. 
Rather looking at a snow December theme.
Starting with an oval, will put down some updates later

NF - This is the time of year when modelers start getting ready for the winter months when they will be staying inside, so you're in good company.

Excellent. So this is the plan.... Use one of the V12+V11 system to create an up-over thing.

Working out the topographical thing, where to put a rice Paddie, in fact make a whole area dedicated to rice Paddies!
Then I might need to kick out the snow thing, but whatevs! Scenery needs to be handled by Tomix or Kato for a rural run through.
I would like to put in a small rural station for Shinkansens to run through.
