Judging from the pictures, it looks like the controllers were shown at Shizuoka with prices already, even though I couldn't see what they were.

Really really need them for my layout, it'll solve a lot of problems for me...

All you can do is guess.  The Series 101 controller scheduled for January 2010 is now listed as July 2010 after a spell as no fixed date.  But probably by March 2011 as these are intended as fiscal 2010 new products.

Tomix shows a tentative release date of "Summer 2010" for N-WL-10-CL with a tentative price of 24,990 Yen.

I'd almost certainly expect it to be a DC controller. Tomix doesn't do DCC - instead they like sprucing up DC with special tricks. (Continuous lighting, etc)
