so i ordered the ed61 + cleaning car.

since finding a cleaning car for a decent price is impossible.

Most were asking $60 aus + shipping for just the cleaning car.

Ireally hope they release a brown car seperate latter so i can get 2 cars for it to pull the same.

I would be tempted by the cleaning car set but I really don't like the locomotive with it... :-/
I'm not a huge fan of JR locomotives but I think there is much nicer ones.

(ED76 or EF66 designs are nicer to me)

agreed but it's brown  and it has a cleaning car which i am in need of.

For now i have to stick to cotton wool buds

i just want another so i can have one sucking and one scrubbing.

and that last sentence just sounds dirty .....

I pre-ordered the cleaning car kit despite the fact that I hate the colour and didn't want the loco. However, my desire for the cleaning car outweighs both of those concerns :P

Another cleaning car .... I already have 3, with another one on pre-order.. I can't possibly get another one.....

Would like to see the actual colors of it though, the black & white picture is rather useless ...

I preordered both cleaning car sets. The 35th anniversary one is interesting to me as that's the year I was born. It's probably good to have 2 anyway...

seems the e5 must be exclusive to kato like i read on mixi. still no news from tomix.

Ihope they can secure exclusive rights to e6

I believe that KATO has the bragging rights for the E6 when it is fully been produced. Just like with the E5 from reading how it would replace the Hayate and the Komachi models. Hence why the E3 and the E5 can connect to each other and so would the E6 to the E5.

looking forward to the 923 Dr. Yellow to come out as well as the ED61 with the cleaning car.

I missed it too, sometimes I miss things if HS don't put up photos straight away when they post new items.

Now you've brought it to my attention I've had to pre-order one.

Sweet sweet one!
Do you think it will eventually get the all wheel power pickup?!
At least it's announced with the flywheel.

Crickey.. So can we assume that 2 months after the JR West sets are retired, another version will come out when the JR Central version gets fully retired??

On a side note, so sad to see these guys go. The original Tomix 300 series Shinkansen was my first ever Japanese train set, way back in .. 1994 or '95 I think?

On HobbySearch:

Limited Edition J.R. Electric Locomotive Type EF65-1000 (EF65-1059, Japan Freight Railway Test Color)

I just love the automatic translation: "- No. 1059 was more than 20 years he later became a dentist and March 2009."

Another funny machine translation

"30 million units are produced ...", that's a lot of shinkansen!!!

"Print a hole represented by jacking up the car at the hem ..." I'm not to sure, but it's something I want to see !!!

I thought it was pretty obvious in the post that Keitaro linked to the 2 items for HS.. You'll notice on the cab car one door for passengers and one for the conductor, while the other only has the passenger door.

just on this though I posted before the pics were there

Also the 183-801 is the trailer it was hard to tell from pic that this is showing the rear or front car?? usually they will show the front.

the limited edition has 183-800 kuroha moha as the front and Kuha 183-801 as the rear trailer
The other set has 183-800 kuroha moha as the front and Kuha 183-700 for the rear

anyone able to confirm ??
