I thought that it can be interesting to post some screenshots from different train simulators. If you play something similar, please show us some pictures!

First of all, here are some from Densha De Go - Ryojo. If someone could translate me the last picture, I would appreciate it. I do not know why I do not get stars in the 3rd row.

At a train stop, make it so that you open at the same time both the doors for passengers getting on or off.

Hope that helps~

So, in the end passengers stood for closed doors all the time. That's the hard life of a One-man operated train...

Hey, what a quick reply, thank you!

Toni:
I am a little bit confused. I tried another route (see pics below) and I got 5 stars for the 3rd one. Both routes have the feature that after you stopped you should push Q or W button to open the doors on the left side or right side. Without this, the software does not know that you stopped in a station. Plus before you departure from there, you should close the doors with the same button. So it is strange. However, this software is really cool.

I don't know about that... I have the same game (for PS2), but never played it, as my PS2 doesn't accept Japanese Dual-Layer DVD games. :/ If I could help you out, I'd gladly have done it.

Thank you, but no.
I do not have PS2, only PC, PSP and Wii. I can buy anytime Densha De Go for PSP and Wii, only the PC version is forbidden to sell to foreign country.
