I'm wondering if anyone can help me out here.  About 6 months ago I started a subscription to "N-Bahn" magazine (yes, as you might infer from the title, its a German language N Scale magazine! :-)  Although I don't speak a work of German (okay, I know what 'nein!' means, etc..! :-) ), a picture is worth a thousand words!

Anyway, I also tried to find some Japanese (preferably N Scale) magazines as well.  Unfortunately, finding a Japanese model train/n scale magazine on Amazon has been a lot more difficult than it was in German!

Here's the link to the Japanese magazine 'store' on Amazon...does anyone have any ideas?

Do you know what the title of the right magazine would be and if its possible to find on Amazon?  There appears to be hundreds of titles to choose from, so I'm sure there's got to be a good fit there somewhere!

These are the model railway and railway magazines on Hobby Search.

These are either National Geographic size or large oversize magazines.

Japan Railfan Magazine is probably the best of the railroad magazines.  It has fold-out car plans for new equipment each month at the back of the magazine.  There is nothing comparable to a North American model railway magazine from I've found.  Most model magazines just focus on models, not layouts or scenery.

Beware these magazines are heavy, therefore shipping is expensive (2,765 to 4,896 Yen) on orders I've placed. By comparison shipping a Tomix catalog runs 5900 Yen for shipping.

Amazon US only sells Japan Rail Fan, and at a hefty markup. Though you can subscribe to several of the model RR magazines (and Japan Rail Fan and J-Trains) at a better price though amazon.jp but they get you with the shipping.
