 8)  obviously some of us may have literally every single released Tomix, Kato, and Microace train that exists in the world on our wishlist, however, lets talk about the trains you reaally want that are not released yet, or maybe the train that you intend to purchase next.

Here are a few that i have my eyes on at the moment.
e231 shonan shinjuku

Tomix EF81 Blue train

Series 785 Suzuran Express (not released yet)

So....whats on your current wishlist???

Many things and allmost nothing at the same time.  ;D

I would have some:
- DE10
- DE51
- EF65
- sleeper cars
- good wagons
- Shikoku Marine Liner, series 5000
- a 5 car Shikoku serie 8000
- Shikoku serie 7000

The for pleasure, since I quite like it this:

and maybe one or two Tokyo suburban kit.

Ouch, at the end that's a load.

Subway, a number of us has been craving for these Tomytec Porttrams for a while.  The production poster was released last summer.  I think there is still time to order a few from your favourite Japanese online hobby shops.

As for me, I love to have...

Those are often available on eBay as well; not sure which way would be cheaper. I have the red version, and it's a very nice set.

Now that I have a Haruka set, my main wish-list item is the Kato Sunrise Express (285) set. Never mind that I'm getting a collection of stuff that would never occupy the same tracks.  ::)

I have a MicroAce DE10, runs extremely nice and smooth, and makes no noise at all apart from the general noise of the wheels on the track.

.. Of course, it doesn't have a motor in it .... ;)

I think he means only that it's been in Kato's catalog for a while—which it has. Near as I can tell, it's still readily available new, though!

IN ORDER:

---Greenmax Keihan 3000-series EMU, eight car set
---Eizan 900 series "Kirara" red (realistically, just not happening)
---Yamanote E231 (full 11-car set)
---2-car addon for Joban E531 (to make 10-car set)
---Tsurumi Line Ewhatever (again, not happening realistically)

POSSIBLY would consider the Super View Odoriko, in the past I've really wanted that one, but lately it's lost its appeal. No idear why.

I don't think is possible, that's a 929xx special run item, maybe is likely in the future Microace re-relase his version (A0521), until now (in the last 20 years :-) I've never seen one Tomix special run re-released like normal item excluding the T5 Dr.Yellow, but that's another history....

Yeah but they must make millions (ok maybe not that much but close hahaha) of these "special runs". If you wait long enough, one is bound to come on the market. Although I've been waiting FOREVER on a Tomix Sayonara 0 kei hahaha. I couldn't really afford one when they were originally released. I doubt I'll ever find one. Trade you for my Endo 200...

I'm lucky, I don't need to wait one Akabe set, I already have both  (Microace and Tomix) and also the Aizu Akabe 485... I'm not sure, is possible I bought also the normal set, I don't remember...but I'm sure I have the Microace Senzan set, similar but white/blu paint
Sayonara 0 key is not so hard to find, arount 30-35000JPY on Yahoo, sometime Endo 200 6 cars around 15000JPY
now my goal is to buy all the JAM special release locos...

Obviously all Enoden rolling stock ever made, plus all rolling stock that is passing/has passed through the the Toei Asakusa subway and the Keisei Skyliners. However, to be more specific and more realistic, It'd be great to have some Keisei/Hokuso/Keikyu/Toei/Chiba Newtown/Chiba Kyuko/etc. trains. They needn't be in their full 8-car formations, as 4/6 car trains will do just as fine.

Apart from the quite huge list that follows from those interests, most of all I need the finances to realise those dreams. That's however being worked on at the moment as I'm starting my own web-designing company with a friend (he does the ultra complicated programming stuff (really, at most times I don't have a clue what's going on on his screen) and I do the designing).

Clem, They make switch points to nowhere, look up derails. They were designed for derailing trains on steep slopes where a derail was preferable to building up speed and destroying a lot of infrastructure.

I would like a cheaper shipping method from Japan to the US.
Then I have to second the "more time for my hobby, more space for my hobby"

For actual N scale items I want:
    1) A motor for my Series 1000 Monorail
    2) A GOOD container ship model and dockside container crane
    3) A Japanese Car factory

have you seen these container ships?

i think they are the old burt industries ones.

its very close to what cmr made for curt's layout and its works really well.
