What did you order or the post deliver? (Japanese N Gauge)

Got two ransom demands this morning. One was the power car for my mixed up 115 series with a SaRo 110 stuffed in the middle, the other was for the coaches I ordered from Plaza back in August...that they refunded me for two days ago (and HobbySearch have already dispatched my replacement order of)! Left the latter with the post office for them to sort out as PJ have claimed for a lost parcel, it should be returned to sender after 21 days.

 

Here's a runpast by the motley 115, as it can now move under its own power rather than as KuMoYa tail loads:

Tomix #98648 JR Series 0 Sanyo Shinkensen arrived yesterday, and Kato V15 station siding track set arrived today. At least we can get a static display set up!

some recent purchases from a local model railway show. Brand new old stock from a hobby shop whose owner has closed doors and retired. 

Microace transformer wagon was $40 (lights in ends of guards vans)

Microace Space World EMU set was $100 and runs very well. Nice Graphics

Tomytec Bus collection was $20. Haven't seen this set before.

Little Roco 0-6-0 has hardly been run . $20 from a private seller.

The 500 series Shinkansen set was $46 which i won on a local auction site. requires a step down transformer from 240v to 110v which i have ordered for $35. I have been after this set for some time to go with a set of 4 coaches acquired from Eurostar 25

Wow amazing deals! That 811 series is a steal! Well done! That Toei bus set is rare... though it doesn't have much of the modern buses, it's pretty rare and i'm envious...

That’s a great deal. I saw a few of these recently and they were selling for over twice that. Now that Spaceworld has recently closed, there is little likelihood that this 811 will be repeated.

I was scrolling through some of the various threads and he wrote a post saying Tomix was about to release the Odakyu 70000-series GSE.

I saw that and I was like... I HAVE NO SELF CONTROL AND I NEED TO BUY THIS!!!!!!!!!

On a different note, has anyone used Rakuten Global market? If so, is it a trustworthy site?

Funniest thing was that the chap had it listed on a local auction site for several months earlier in the year at a reserve of $100. I sent him a message offering him $80 which he never replied to and then a few months later he turns up at a show with it discounted to $50. I then offered a cheeky $40 and he accepted.

Well the gold is a little worn, but it was only $6!  I'm thinking I'll prime and paint them in the proper colors and they'll make great Christmas ornaments.

An empty Kato 10 slot case and a twin pack of those neat little UM9A Nippon Express containers from Tomix. Very well moulded and printed, the baseplate parts stack precisely for moving them empty and the four mini containers clip securely to them.
