There is, thankfully, a limiting factor. The shortage of different running numbers means it'll take some time even if I do fill a box of twelve (which I'll probably buy instead of the mini one). Do Tomix change the numbers on re-runs?

Unfortunately Tomix does not change the numbers in their reruns nor does Kato, however if you were to come across one of the Tomix KoKi's (106, 107 & 50000) that are fitted with tail lights they do come with a decal sheet with 10 alternative car numbers, the same applies to the Tomix Taki 1000's with tail lights and the Taki 1000 2 car limited edition sets with storage case.

This sucks (1st world problem).  I had a long term pre-order from Amazon (JP) ship and it was supposed to arrive today by DHL.  DHL did in fact send it to the local DHL service center, at which point it should have been put on a truck and sent to me this afternoon.   However, it got mis-sorted at the local service center when it arrived and put on the plane and taken to Long Beach California.  So it should get sent back to me and hopefully delivered tomorrow.  First screw up I've had by them...   Anyway, in the big scheme of things it doesn't matter, but when you are sitting here waiting for the yellow truck and then learn you have to wait longer...

(And BTW it is KATO 10-1514 -- Swiss Rhb GE4/4 - II Hakone.)

I'm waiting for that too. Only in my case I'm waiting for MTP to have them into stock and send me a payment request. I see the first YouTube video of one popped up a few hours ago.

There was a box from HS waiting for me when I returned from vacation.  Inside was my 10 car set of Seibu TO31 sewage cars by One Mile.

They come in a 10 box mystery pack like Tomytec vehicles but I don't know if they were repacked by HS or I was just lucky because I got all ten road numbers.

The plastic wheels on the cars didn't roll well, actually they didn't roll at all, so I replaced them with Fox Valley metal wheel sets. There is no movement at all in the couplers so they might go in favour of Micro Trains couplers if they cause trouble.

First Tomix loco.

Boy you are such a tease, you could have taken it out of its sheath for us to see.

It's my one and only Tomix loco - it's really nice and runs smoothly.

After getting some cars and trucks, I had to get me some buses.  I'm just afraid that I'll be getting more.

Some of those busses look familiar...   I need to post a few things form long-term backorders/preorders that came in from HS recently...

Though Itami airport is not one I have been through, it is not actually very far from my MIL's apartment and I just had to get the ITM airport limousine bus set through preorder..

Training car?

Yup. For real work condition training of JR staff.

It was also used with different intermediate cars.

The KuHa 481-26 of this set is preserved at the Omiya Railway Museum in JNR Limited Express livery.

Just had (and paid) the invoice for the RhB Hakone set. Need to work out a better storage method than the card and polystyrene foam box it comes in, wondering if one of the Casco mini cases would work. They make a six slot case which would also handle a second Allegra if I came across one...

Edit, ordered another couple of the blue seven slot mini cases. One for the other half of the Fuji/Hayabusa (don't have that yet but the cases may not be around forever) and the other for RhB stock.

Managed to get MicroAce's 485 Series Training Car set K26.

Wow seems like you certainly did some researching instead of just buying and connecting them up randomly...  🙂

A HS pre-order:

Tomytec hiroshima 1900 tram

Tomytec TM-TR01 motor drive

Kato YO8000

Probably my last order for awhile as I have nothing reserved, lots of stuff on hand and nothing available right now grabs my attention.

I got my Rilakkuma x keikyu last Friday. I put the roof equipment on today, no pictures of that. These are just the day I got it. I wish greenmax motors were more pwm friendly for lighting and slow speeds but it's still a good looking set on the tracks.

I didn't order the blue sky rilakkuma because I already have a blue 600, and didn't feel like spending more money.

Another keikyu train for the collection!

Glad it got there safely and fast.  Uh oh, if you like this design you better watch out.  These come in 6 or more liveries I believe.

Luckily I only go with Tokyo Metro and Skytree so to my knowledge the E233-2000 is the only other one I need.

These arrived after almost five weeks from plazzaJapan, wedding figures for the church and graffiti stickers for the station walls.

I m only really posting this to say that I contacted plazzaJapan over the delay to be told postage had been severely delayed due to the typhoon,so if anyone else is experiencing the same issues you know why.
