USPS seems to have lost my next Buyee package... Either that, or it's just getting a tour of the US west coast. It flew into San Francisco from Osaka, then went to Los Angeles, finally ending up in Seattle earlier in the week. Given how long it's been on the move, I guess it's gonna be awhile before it gets to Colorado!

That happens.  I have an eBay of some used engines from Germany that hit Salt Lake City last Tuesday or so and then disappeared again.  Salt Lake City is the local big post office and it should have been sent on a local truck the 12 miles or so to my local PO.  Hopefully yours shows up.

I have 4 SAL, 3 of which are registered, whose last status was "Dispatch from outward office of exchange" with Tokyo listed, with last scan on 3/12, 3/19, 3/23, 3/24.  (The 3/24 is the non registered and I had a non registered SAL sent from the same place 2 days after the one who last scan was 3/12 and it showed up a week ago).  It is almost better to not know the tracking numbers so that you don't micro-manage the tracking and anticipation :)

I've had something similar happen to all of my packages from late feb/early march.  They all seem to be lost somewhere between Narita and LAX, yet one magically showed up today while the tracking still shows waiting for arrival at LAX.  The post office must be swamped or backed up somehow, I've never had a package take this long (or have so many get stuck).  On the bright side the package that arrived was a kato shops set that was marked junk on buyee, yet is actually brand new in a still sealed box!  Hopefully the rest of my orders will arrived before I move at the end of the semester.

Havent been updating this thread due to heavy family commitments lately, but I  guess some time off is good to update what I've gotten in the last month or so...

Please excuse me if some of these parcels have already been posted before... kinda lost track where I was...

Let's start from my usual and most favourite supplier, Ami Ami:

20180313_073054.jpg

20180313_072957.jpg

20180313_073028.jpg

20180313_073102.jpg

20180313_073146.jpg

20180313_073209.jpg

The 225-3000 series Marine Liner Blue... very neat train set with the double decker, and lovely 30th anniversary of the Seto-Ohashi bridge label on the box!

20180313_073643.jpg

20180313_073651.jpg

20180313_073842.jpg

Next are just some buses, and some trams.... the Hiroshima 3000 series is really quite nice!

20180316_121056.jpg

20180316_121226.jpg

Next are the yard extension set, some couplers and a 313 that was on sale and screaming to be bought since I am missing a 2-car 313 series and a Tomix made one... I only have Kato ones... One can never have enough 313 series, right?

20180322_073211.jpg

20180322_073231.jpg

Finally, the Kirara that I stupidly sold off (check way back in the forums for my stupidity) and now had to re-purchase it.... But it's with a new logo so that's still fine... and some pre-painted platform screen doors from GreenMax...

And some from HS, mainly parts and pieces... wished Ami could pre-order spare parts from Kato like HS can...

20180313_072733.jpg

20180313_072754.jpg

I got 2 more spare motor chassis for the E231-500... since I guess I will be running both the Sobu color and the Yamanote line E231-500 pretty often so good to have spare motors standing by....

And from a nice little trade-off, I finally got my hands on the Ibusuki no Tamatebako! I must say, this really is a nice and unique train, with 2 bright and contrasting colours on both sides of the train! Surely an unique train guaranteed to turn heads running on the layout!

Last but not least, a good friend of mine so graciously lug this set back for me from Japan! So much thanks to him for this exclusive and unique set that I have been eyeing on for way too long!

Those are some very new things you got, @JR 500系! The Marine Liner, JR Tokai 313 series, Fukutetsu, Hiroden! I'm seriously starting to consider getting the blue Marine Linere set as well...

Picked up an old Greenmax Tobu 10030 10-car set for pretty cheap. I've got my eye on some older 10000-series cab cars, which will be switched in for the 10030 cab cars to make it a kind of fake full 10000-series set.

And finally, a cheap set of Tokyo Metro 13000-series cars have poped up for sale, so I'm really going after those for my Hibiya Line subway loop!

Now if I could just find a cheap set of Tobu 70000's...

So very blue!
Is this the accurate color, and are photos I see online just a bit faded?

Nothing very exciting but a new work station from China.

Not the best but good value for money and will do the job.5617C2CB-C755-4778-A9EA-1C25398FAA2E.thumb.jpeg.91506985fc9d0237aff8d30597130a6d.jpeg

That looks really nice paul!  Does it come as a kit you put together?

Just picked up two Greenmax # 36 kits on ebay for a project I want to start.  This is the viaduct set with shops under the track.  This seller has quite a few Japanese items at reasonable prices and is in the US so shipping was reasonable for me.

https://www.ebay.com/sch/N-Scale/19119/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=&_ssn=tma3015&_sac=1

Saw that he also had an old Tomix 2816 (125 type car for 100 series Shinkansen) but it had already sold.  I need 2 of those and a 2816 (126 type) to complete my full 16 car train that I started in 1997 !

Has your item shipped?  I paid them immediately March 21st and today they tried to ask for another payment.  FOLLOWUP  The seller got back to me and there has been 35 orders in one week.  Too much for museum volunteers.
