Further, a box from Zen market, and I am very happy to receive the wireless controller as I got it at a REALLY good price! it would also help me ALOT during runs and maintenance of the layout! chadbag Posted February 17, 2019 Share Posted February 17, 2019 I had wanted to try this cleaning car (the yellow one in the pic) that I saw from Plaza Japan on eBay (and started a separate topic in the Track sub forum on it). I also needed a piece from this island platform set to expand the one I already have, and Plaza Japan had a reasonable price once I combined shipping. So I had those two things sent to me plus 4 packs of 24-811 which are insulating rail joiners (cheaper than buying the whole Unitrack insulating coupler pieces when I have a huge surplus of the normal ones and can convert) since they were $1 per pack plus 50 cents per pack shipping when combined with the above. It all came today -- about 15 days from the day it was sent. Except for various capacitors, rectifiers, resisters, and LEDs, I am not expecting anything else for a long while as far as I remember. 5 Link to comment

The receiver controller uses AA batteries~ The main issue here was for me to run around trying to operate the train while I am working on the layout, so it was pretty frustrating… Good thing is I got this at a really good price! I found my lost box with my 6441 Track Cleaning Car and truck cleaning track and all the extra pads. Also in the box was my JNR Tomix Bobber Y0 8000 caboose, a JNR freight container caboose, my Walther's intermodal carriers, and a bunch of cheap American freight cars. My track cleaning car has some issues, but I got it working. Now I need the Special Sauce! 😄 Question: Since Atlas sold the track cleaning car, is there an equivalent to the 6402 cleaning solution in the US?
