It doesn't need to have motor control - I'd probably be running it in a fixed location under a small layout with good quality amplified speakers instead of mounted in the locomotive. I looked at ESU Loksound but found nothing when I searched for "DE10", Barring a specific DE10 sound project, do DE10s sound like anything else commonly found in Europe or (doubtful) the US? Thanks!
