Train socks ?

I would love to get some of the Tetsushita train socks for my grandkids, I know Popondetta have them but their pages are all Japanese, do any of you know of any other webstores that have them ? (Preferably with English pages)

How cool are they? I wonder if they do them in adult sizes?

All those I have seen say size 16 to 21 cm, Amazon have some listed but at £8 a pair plus shipping the price is way higher than the 350 Yen they actually cost.

I admit to looking at the sizes whenever I see them on sale (my wife would like them, you should see some of her other socks), but they seem to be child sizes only.

Yes only child sizes.  16 and 21 cm.  Just about everywhere I was in Japan sell these.  Tourist shops, train shops, stores at train stations.

 

I think the easiest way to get these would be to ask someone travelling to Japan to get them for you.  No one would have to go out of there way to find them as they are everywhere as I said.  A few day too late, I just arrived back yesterday.

 

Or ask Dave (Hobby 1 Loco) or Nariichi (Model Train Plus) from this community to get you the ones you want.
