Here is an image of the example using natural sun light. It really brings out the turf colors.

Inobu,

Wow! Great work! Kudos on this!

Interesting find on the spray adhesive foam paper trick, will need to experiment. I think the amount of acetone left after a few minutes would probably not be enough to do future damage. Liquid nails for foam works well and relatively fast compared to pva glues, but is thick and can be harder to shape than the foam at seams.

Cheers

Jeff

Thanks,

The spray gets a bond in a few minutes which speeds thing along. The paper

doesn't hinder the trimming or sanding very much.

Ichi sent me a sample of his tunnel portals that he design and I have to say they are AMAZING!!!

Here is a quick video of them on my layout. (I forgot my camera and used my iPhone to record it....sorry :( )

Excellent! Love what you're doing Inobu. Ever thought about milling the terrain onto those foam blocks?

trying to integrate all three components becomes somewhat of a challenge. The slope angel of an existing mountain along with a pre-milled block can be a can of worms. Trying to get them to come together is hard. Blending the blocks into one another seems to be easier.

Thanks
