Researching Kyoto's "Randen" tram (Keifuku Electric Railway)

Recommended Posts

Ken, et al - I've just discovered that one of Jeff's crew built a T-Trak module of Kitano-Hakubaicho.

I went through the thread and didn't see any previous reference to it - sorry if there was and I missed it.

The prior discussion was centered on the rolling stock.

I'd like to see a longer module with a more accurate representation of the front of the station.

Those are phillip's excellent modules! He has condensed scenes as he has only done single width modules, but has tried to make adjacent module scenes work together for a larger scene while still being able to stand alone. It's a fine balance. Btw he is moving overseas soon, but sold his wonderful Ttrak alternate spaced loop to one of the other JRM members,

It's nice to see other people that are into modeling the Randen! Sadly, my planning has been at a standstill. The interest is still there, though.

That's an interesting little station - very modellable whether strictly prototypical or as inspiration for freelancing.

oops ... looks like I forgot that there was one additional Modemo Randen model release ...

Modemo OE4 (65154) which is from the JAM international model railroad convention event back in 2009 which features an Enoden 1500 Series railcar as well as a 631 series Randen car (T)

This one is not too difficult to find on the second-hand market, Hasegawa's online store even lists it (not sure if they still actually sell it) but it is relatively unknown and often overlooked
