Yep very much so! You are spot on!

 

An acquaintance in Washington state has a huge garage full of speeders, he's a collector and restorer. They have a large club and go out on outings where they rent track for the weekend out in the country to do a trip on. Quite swanky as they stay at B&Bs and have catered lunches waiting for them at strategic spots. Not a poor mans hobby... But this chap also has a small house sized structure next to his house just for his O gauge layout.

Anyway back on topic sorta,

I remember that show classic.

 

Bit too small for a motor but you could possibly on a ho or HOn.

IT doesn`t look like the wheels are even moveable?
