Folks,

 

As requested, please find attached pictures of the 1:14 scale "Namekuji" D51 model which made its way here to Brazil. Marcelo gave it a thorough cleaning but several parts are still missing or were incorrectly fixed.  As I've said before it's up for sale. I have no interest in it whatsoever but if anyone is interested send me a PM.

Indeed Densha. It would be the case of sending it back to Japan. But whom to offer it to?

Interesting point.  All the Honshu JRs have museums.  JR East and JR West have running D51s, JR West's D51 200 runs only within the grounds of Umekoji as far as I know, while obviously JRE's D51 498 is fit for the real lines.  Also, JR West has D51 1 at Umekoji, although I guess it doesn't run.

 

What does this model weigh?  Is it live steam?
