Doh, reading that much too late at night!

Mrp had created a pic program to drive little led displays like that for that sort of small screen. Tiny screens are being made even for switch buttons to shingle the labeling on them as needed.

I think he is talking about the 2 panels in the shop front and end windows - best seen from 0.26 in the clip.

Correct! The RGB lighting, and in fact the lighting and detailing in general, is excellent! However, I'm referring to the two vertical displays showing the Uniqlo animation. I will definitely be picking up a couple of these for experimentation for my own (eventual) N-scale layout.

The displays are shown off on the blog here:

A nice rural station with exchange between JNR and private railway line.

From the author of the 50 layouts book, a shunting game concept disguised as a model railway. You start at the railway station, where you draw a card from the stack. That card shows the consist you have to arrange. After doing the shunting work and ending up with the correct consist, you run back to the railway station. That is where you start over again from the first step.

A small operations layout based on the Ome line.  It would be great for a small apartment!

Thats from the 50 small layout book. It’s a really excellent track plan idea book for small layouts, wonderfully illustrated. Lots of great ideas to hide stuff to make the layout feel bigger and more complex than it is and also operations are thought into things as well. All in Japanese but easily translated with google translate on the phone or pad.

The twitter feed that the above plan is from has a wealth of plans, buildings and vehicles amongst other items. It is worth a look through.

The plan above is from this book offered on Amazon.  It seems to be new material with R150 and R183 curves.  I believe the Twitter poster may be the artist.

Hot dayuum, don't remember seeing this one before, complete with moving cars and even people:

The car movement is provided by some kind of pulley system involving magnets and works with the Tomytec bus system. Videos show how it's done.

Holy animation Batman!

Nice combo of animation! Ive seen very few have animated people at n scale like this. Well done! Sequencing the car loop with the moving bus was nicely done! Key is to break the scene at the right place to make it all work and hide the turnarounds. But the eye will beg for the whole layout to have all this animation! Nice find.

Cheers

WOW!

That was really nicely done! I love how the speed of the cars and the buses were captured accurately, along with the speed of the trains above... Very life like! The commuters were a little too fast for my liking though haha  🙂 But overall a really superb job! Man that is nice!

LOL at the police car whose probably drunk!  😛
