1/80th Arii EF66 Hayabusa

So, there's been a smidgeon of progress lately on the EF66 kit.  It's gone from this...

 

 

...to this.

 

 

OK, so it's been a bit more progress than I let on.  :P  But anyway, it's looking good for a static model.  However, with the motor and transmission wasted in such a use, I have began looking at converting it to conventional powered rail use.  Insulated wheels are now installed and just waiting to make up the copper pickup strips for the unpowered bogies and also adding some weight/strength to the chassis, then it's good to go.
