Started a List of part Numbers for Kato Traction Tires:

Steam:

-D51 All = Z02-1575 (7mm)

-Mikado = 81000

-GS4     = 810004

Shinkansen:

-Series E2,E3,E4,E5 = Z01A4012 (4mm)

-Series 0,100,200,500,700,800 = Z01A4012 (4.1mm)

(includes multiple releases of each model)

TGV:

-K109xx = K10916-32

According to the KatoModels website, Z01A4012 fits most of the express trains, too, (i.e E225).

This makes stocking small parts easier. I only have to carry a few to the shows for repairs.

I'm pretty sure I overheard the cook at the cafeteria saying this!!!  They rejected it as being too gourmet...

No I have not yet, I keep seeing it come up on various train board. Most all I've seen that have used it loved it, few doubt it but those have never tried it so have no good info to offer. It's been one of those things to try when I loose a tire I can't replace it. It is like $20 so not cheap, but that could replace a lot of tires.

You have to apply it right the first time or your loco will wobble.

As for the Kato TGV's mentioned, they all have 4.1mm wheels. Therefore, the traction tires above will fit.
