Sort of club for Dutch/German/Belgian members?

Picture 24, the RRR looks most like Vermillion Red to me (when newly painted and unweathered).

After having a look at a different time of day with different light, not R just look like older and weathered Vermillion Red you'd find across Japan.

The single coat of red has had some sanding, which gives it the faded look. However, I was more aiming at the darker red, like the color of the roof of the 800 series shinkansen. Or if you look at http://www.jr-chiisai.net/ , the background color of the header images.

 

The current red looks very much like the color used on many of the torii all over Japan.
