no not oil tanks, but real tanks. found a fun mini gashapon model of a 1/150 type 97 japanese tank on ebay

figure im going to put him in a park somewhere or maybe in front of a building that could be some sort of jds building. there is not as much war stuff like this on public display in japan as elsewhere in the world, but you do see it now and then. figure it could be a little changable bit of public art/exhibitiion some where. besides building a tank 1" long will be fun! its so cute in its little tiny box!

i actually have a small pile of more modern 1/144 tanks, army trucks, cannon and some GIs for exactly this purpose! want to be able to set up a little goji battle sometime. crowning piece to this is the type 66 maser canon! id get a second if they go on sale, but so far only the 1/48 scale ones seem to go on sale...
