Coming out of Nishi-Kuwana station there is a level crossing with three different gauges, reportedly  the only crossing  with three gauges in Japan.  But where else would you find three gauges together?

Kintetsu Nagoya line 1435mm      (red and white EMUs)

JR Central Kansai line 1067mm

Sangi Railway  Hokusei line 762mm  (Yellow EMUs)

An aerial view from Wikimapia focused on the Nishi-Kuwana station of the Hokusei line. The three crossings would be a little bit down to the bottom the screen.

Bill, I don't know about any other location in Japan with three gauges, but In Peterborough in South Australia there used to be three gauges, 5'3", standard and 3'6". I think there is also triple gauge in Austria, but I'n buggered if I can remember the name of the town.

Cheers,

Mark.
