diamond files

I recently got a very nice set of small diamond files in three different grits on ebay. they work wonderfully. great for sprue cleaning or filing brass etchings clean. nice as there is a set of 4 files in each of the three grits. each is also nicely tapered in one dimension. great deal at less than a dollar each!

Bernard,

how did they work out? i have several sets of files, but only a few i really like! these new flat ones are i think going to be nice for the general stuff. at $10 dont think they will last with really heavy use, but the little model stuff is quite light duty...

im on the hunt now for a few tiny jewelers diamond files for fiddling with the really tiny stuff. i have a little set on order. all my little ones are rasp files and just dont work well on the tiny stuff and the emery sticks dont either.

i love to shop around for stuff like this, nice getting a great bang for the buck when you can.

always great to hear how various sets work out in practice!

cheers

Hichemachci! (or WOW) it was only a $25.00 gift card, I'd be a little short if I bought the set you listed. I use my files all the time, especially when I have to align Altas turnouts....small files are an important tool for modelers.
