Looking for a ghost train, gets killed by real one

One of the problems here is that there are so few active rail lines left, and so many abandoned or nearly-abandoned (i.e. one trip a week or less) lines, that people aren't used to thinking about trains as a danger.  As a result, they trespass and often get killed by trains they never heard coming (riding noisy motor bikes or wearing headphones) or that they couldn't escape.

But crossing a bridge in the dark, and one which was probably fenced and would have had large "no trepassing" signs and other warnings at the end, is still behavior worthy of a Darwin award.
