Museum of Poop now open in Tokyo

Ugh my industry has hit a low. My opinion of the concept is basically what it’s representing... there is some educational value to poop, but it doesn’t look like any thing of educational value is being presented here.

It does seem very much visual candy (for a certain digested value of candy) for the Instagram generation.

 

I briefly considered whether  to take the Squidlet there, as he is of an age where that kind of thing is Highly Amusing, but far better places to waste the money.

That is interesting.  There was, when we were there in August, an "Unko Museum" at the big LalaPort Tokyo Bay mall (the really big one one a stop or two from Maihama).  But it was just a big end-of-the-concourse display that was free.  This appears to be much more involved (and not free).

Interesting as I use to always say in educational stuff “poop sells” as kids love poop and teaching a point using poop always work.

 

Like you said squid this just looks like Instagram selfie Ville (and seems to promote itself as such).
