What’s the one one the right hand side of the second picture?

Keihan 80 Series, they were used on the Keihan Keishin line back in the days when the line was above ground all the way to Sanjo in Kyoto, they ran on a 600v DC power supply and they were in service from 1961 till 1997 when they were made redundant with the transition of the Kyoto section of the line to underground and the upgrading of the power supply to 1500v DC as well as the introduction of the modern 800 series 4 car trains. There was talk at one stage of transferring them to the Eizan Electric Railway which is also owned by the Keihan but this came to nought, one car still survives No 82 and has been moved to a museum and parts of the control gear are still being used in some of the older Eizan units, when the 80 Series first came into service they were single car with trolley poles on top, they had PG16 Pantographs fitted to them in 1970 and were then converted to two car sets in 1972, in 1989 they were fitted with air conditioners which also in typical Keihan fashion were recycled and used on the 600 Series trains.

Something different than the shinkansen for a chance.

Presenting my collection of 1970's/1980's J.N.R. Getaden/old type national railway cars. This was a collective term for all of the J.N.R. EMU types/series introduced before the introduction of the 'new performance cars' (starting with the MoHa 90 -> 101 series (post 1959) in 1957), as well as the new classification system introduced in 1959.

This is the second largest part of my collection, after the shinkansen. However, as most of them ran in smaller units in their later career, I was actually able to fit the entire collection within the yard...

I've tried to arrange them in chronological order (date of introduction) as much as possible, though as they were technically very similar, they were intermixed extensively, while the 1953 classification system grouped similar car types together, which in turn meant that for example a KuMoHa 54 type car could be either from the 51 or 40 series, while another large group, the KuHa 47 contained, original, 32, 42 and 52 series cars.

For the numbering, I named only the first car, otherwise it would simply become too messy.

the first 5 cars are, semi-steel, 17m classes.

Not that impressive of a collection as most people's in the thread, but here are some Chuo-Sobu Line Shortys, lined up in chronological order ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I can’t believe I overlooked this thread, but here’s my fleet:

A bit heavy on JR East, but I’m really aiming to showcase a little bit of everything.  As of yet, I don’t have any JR Central, JR Kyushu, JR Shikoku, or private railways represented here.  The only items not pictured are two blue スハ coaches that have joined the brown ones behind the C62.  I took this picture before I purchased those.

Here is my little line up, only started in November, focus is on HST in general, especially from east asia.

They are all full length too (Thalys and E5 are both 10 carriages, and the Shinkansen 500 and CRH2 8 carraiges). Currently trying to buy a CRH5 also with 8 carraiges, and the E6 shinkansen and N700S Kamome high on my buying lists, and a proper CRH3 and full length Eurostar E320 on my wishlist.

Here's what I have so far! 😍 Everything is Kato aside from the Nagaragawa 300 Series. The KIHA 58 is what came with the starter set and it's the only one I've applied stickers to so far. The Ocean Arrow is the 6 car set. I also have an expansion set for the E353 giving it a total of 9 cars and I don't have anything for the EF66 to pull just yet.
