Hello Folks,

I'm wanting to know the details about  these MUT Box 2 Dioramas. Eg.

https://samuraibuyer.jp/jp/item/detail.php?item_cd=B06WD6HJSX

I assume that you purchase a kit of parts, including walls, printed paper details etc.

What scale are they? Are there suppliers outside of Japan? I have a daughter who may be interested.

Thanks in Advance,

                              Andrew G.

Just speculation. A bit of Fermi math.

Average ceiling height is 8 ft = 243.8 cm.

Vertical height of the diorama in ad is 19cm

Scale is approx 12.8 to 1

1/12th scale is a very standard doll house scale around the world. It’s a huge hobby in many places and 1/12 scale lets you do amazing details. Furniture made can be exquisite.

there is also 1/144 dollhouse dollhouse modeling (sometimes called micromini) as well. Basically came out of making a 1/12 scale doll house for a 1/12 scale doll house. There is little commercial stuff out there for 1/144 doll house stuff, few cast metal things, few 3D printed, and a few small kits. There also is some military details at 1/144.

here is a great 1/144 modeler!
