Kato E259 De-motor?

Any ideas if I could de-motor a second E259 set and run the 12 cars on 1?  They look to plan to do this with the E353, and it would save me buying another EM13 and needing to speed match (since I speed match my trains to proto top speeds).

Yeah just disassemble the motor chassis and bogies.  Then rebuild without the motor, driveshafts and gears.  The axles will have gears, but without any other gears to play against inside the bogie, then they will spin freely.
