At least the damage is smaller than the previous storms.  Repairing the embankment should be much cheaper and quicker than the bridge replacements or larger washouts that have occurred.  Glad to hear that no one was killed, and the amount of injuries are relatively small for a large storm.

Two deaths reported so far. It happened mainly overnight, so the full extent may not yet be clear, though it does seem to have been more disruptive than destructive compared to 21.

 

Certainly messed up the morning commute in the Tokyo area, a lot of JR lines didn't get going until around 8am and the Keio Line has only just restarted (ca. 9am) after a train ran over a wall which had fallen onto the tracks.
