Is this the Metro's version of the Japanese Tilt train?  :grin (Bad joke I hope no one was hurt. Ooops didn't look close enough to see the train it was.)

Any more information on this? It's a bloody good balancing act!

 

On a serious note: it's at Kashiwazaki Station in 2007 after the earthquake that hit that town and Niigata Prefecture.

 

In an earlier earthquake in 2004, also in Niigata, the Joetsu Shinkansen was affected:
