The mine track called "Eitetsu Line(曵鉄線)" in Tokyo, Japan

 

Mine wagons are moved by cable. You can hear the sound of wheels, cables, and pulleys in this track.

I think this would be a great operating accessory up high on a hillside over trains. Not something you see every day.

Thanks for the videos!  I'm pretty sure this is part of the mine that used to ship limestone out using hokis via the Ome line and ed16s.  I was supprised to see that the mine carts are still in use when most mines in Japan have switched to conveyers.  Glad to see they are still in use.
