Well, it actually isn't a Photoshopped image, if we have to believe the comment section on Twitter. It is a test car that JNR put together for collision testing.

The car is done that way to test the end strength of the new car end and document what happens as the car is collided with another one, or a wall.  There will be film someplace. I don't think that I have run into it online, but it might be on the RTRI website someplace.
