FOUND! - LTD EXP Shikoku 2000 series sets...

A far fetch and almost impossible wish, but trying just my tini-winy luck here if anyone has this set:

http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10073204

MicroAce A3470 Shikoku Series 2000 Limited Express `Shiokaze`+`Ishizuchi` (7-Car Set)

(When MA was just so much more affordable... I mean, look a 7 car set with 5 cabs with working lights and 2 motor chassis at a cost that is only for a basic 6-car set now..)

OR this

http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10073205

Shikoku Series 2000 + Series N2000 Limited Express `Nanpu`+`Uzushio` (7-Car Set)

I've always wanted an expressive Limited Express train to just represent Shikoku, and I love the 2000 series. The other 8000 series is way too expensive, and not a huge fan of the front car....

I could also like this if possible:

http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10195953

Series 2000 Nanpu (8-Car Set)

or basically a 2000 series that has minimum 4 cab cars so that 2 consists can be formed to run separately....

Good luck to me!   :P

Good luck with the N2000; the A3475 set is becoming very rare and goes for a lot of yen on Yahoo Auctions. I've also been looking for this set for ages, but it's just too expensive. Also considering that I already have a standard 2000 series set anyway. I bet you'll be able to find a used set of the latter series for much cheaper.

The only one of the A3475 that I found for a reasonable (i.e. close to original) price. https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b256631736

Thanks! But i'm too late... Quite a fair price t pay for a dual motor set with 4 cabs with working lights!

Yap... through research, i'm starting to see that the 2000 series are becoming more and more rare; i.e. more and more expensive... A3470 & A3471 & A3475 are all going for quite crazy amount of money, almost close if not more than what they retail for... I'm just blaming myself for not getting them when I saw them on my China source...

I should have just went crazy and grab a lot of them...   :(

I don't even have a 2000 series that is like so definitive of Limited express of Shikoku... Otherwise I would need to look at the 8000 series since it is still available, but pretty expensive to get a 5 + 3 set with 2 motors.....

Used 8000 series aren't that expensive I believe... don't know about recent prices though.

Thanks to a really great friend for his help, I have finally secured this set! The 2000 series, along with the N2000 series are just beautiful, and I am so happy they can also be run as separate sets themselves!  :)

Good find! Although I already have a 2000 series, I really need to get myself a N2000...
