Uetsu Line Museum

Recommended Posts

This is a web site with lots of historical data station by station on the Uetsu main line connecting Niitsu and Akita in Niigata Prefecture. There are chronologies by station, lists of trains both goods and passenger and wiring schematics for each station.  There are several stations with the typical JNR three track layout.

Isn't it Uetsu Main Line?

Other than that, great website!

Corrected. Thanks.  I found it a little bit confusing and lacking time for further research I wanted to share it.

I was hoping for more information about the change between 1,500 V DC and 20,000 V AC 60 Hz overhead power in the listing for Murakami Station....

Uetsu Line Museum

When JNR era, we had line grouping including Main Line and Branch Line.

Uetsu Line (Uetsu Line group) : Uetsu Main Line, Hakushin Line, Akatani Line & Yashima Line

Hakushin Line, Akatani Line & Yashima Line are branch line.

As my web cover these 4 lines, the name of website is not "Uetsu Main Line Museum" but "Uetsu Line Museum".
