Apparently it costs only 2500-4000 yen per night.  Very low price for such a unique experience.

There is two at Akume station being used for something. I cannot figure out what they are being used for. But they are ex Fujis/Hayabusas.

To be clear: elements from the interior of the cars have been re-used inside a building converted to a hotel/hostel; this is not the actual cars themselves. Still interesting though.

If only people actually paid to ride the original trains (and purchased a spot in a berth), it would have been much better, and a genuine experience...
