Nice videos! I love the first one, with the speedometer. Gave a rough gauge what speed the train was zooming pass...

 

Strange not every train will sound their horn when passing the station, even if it is right next to a platform with people... I wonder what is the criteria that drivers sound their horns?

From what I have seen drivers sound the horn if passengers are in front of the yellow safety line, the length of the blast on the horn depending on how long it takes the recipient to get the message.

Honking also depends on the driver and his/her approach to safety. Some drivers just sound the horn at every station and others rarely at all. Honking is very common practice at Keikyu where platforms are narrow, have low visibility and trains blast through at high speeds very frequently.

There are actually two videos showing train speeds.  These are very long videos. The first video is 81 minutes and the second video 47 minutes. Lots of variety. Freight speeds seem to run 60-80 km/h through stations, passenger trains usually are faster up to 117 km/h on Keikyu.
