What JR East EMU is this?

It's the JR East 701 series, widely used in the Tohoku area in AC 20kv territory.

Could someone maybe expand this into an article in the JNSwiki? I note that all we have is a picture of 2 701s on the Aomori Station article here:

...and that picture was the only reason I knew to put the 701s on the Tohoku Electric Rolling Stock page, but clearly didn't learn enough to recognize them when I saw them again.

 

If somebody wants to translate something from the Japanese wikipedia page, great. If not, I could at least start the skeleton of the page, but I'd appreciate some help from more knowledgeable people.

 

Also--forgot to ask before; does anybody make an n-scale model of the 701?
