JRM at 2016 DC Sakura Matsuri Festival - National Cherry Blossom Festival

Its that time of year again! Cherry blossoms are popping like mad here and the Sakura Matsuri is coming!

 

This year it is Saturday, April 16th from 10.30a-6.00p. But it has moved for this year due to construction on Pennsylvania ave (thanks mr trump), this year it will be down by the Ballpark on the waterfront park at M and New Jersey. Still by a metro stop at Navy Yards.

We will be there with the full layout and probably a kids layout as well to play with. Come on down and join us if you are in the area and bring a train to run!

 

Its a very large event, lots of food, cultural, arts, etc going on. Very fun event. Usually we are sandwiched between JR East and JR central tents.
