Umegaoka -- a dabble in T-track

After finding some neglected Unitrack, I thought I'd attempt a double T-Track module.

It's about two feet long and one foot deep, and is of a cutting through an urban hill with a level crossing at the bottom of the hill and a road overbridge at the top.

Buildings are a mix of Kato, Tomytec and cardboard.

The location is rather confused: it appears to be Tokyo, but the bus is from Fukuyama and the bank is from Tottori.

Thanks, i see it now. I tought the road was parallel to the tracks. It's a great diorama even in itself. I know at least two locations in Tokyo that look almost exactly like this.

Below the Umegaoka module is the small layout that is the subject of the "Wakarimasen" thread (still a work in progress).

Most of the buildings are plastic Tomytec or Kato models. I have tried to use paint and signage to disguise their origins.

The power poles are HO scale, slightly modified, and come from a Life-Like "Rolling Thunder" train set.

I wasn't happy with how the building at the bottom of the hill had a lean, so did some work tonight to fix that.

The narrow street leading off the right end, between the wedding planner and the papercraft bar, has been "pedestrianised" into a different colour (this narrow street will lead into a shotengai on the next module).

A couple of overhead shots are attached, too, for those who wanted an omniview.
