Tomix 200-2000 aerial

Hi,

 

I have a Tomix 200-2000 that has the very tip of what I assume is the aerial missing, it's also missing it's outer sleeve (as always for a SH model).

 

I've hunted for hours to find spares for this model, but just can't find anything.

 

Can anybody point me in the right direction for this spare aerial part and maybe a standard Tomix sleeve?

It's Tomix JA04, for 100, 200 and 300 series.

 

As for the outer blue sleeve, I have yet to encounter one selling it, so I reckon that would be tough...

There was one chap that hated them and sold off all of his! I meant to grab some, but missed the chance.

I think that chap and myself are one in the same.  All mine are packed in boxes out of sight with things like the koki jewels cases etc.

 

For insterests sake, I could send 3x sleeves as untracked 36x26x2cm 125-250g airmail to USA for $7.40 AUD.

Even though the original question has already been answered, I can hopefully add something to this topic by explaining the use of the aforementioned antenna on the real shinkansen.

Please bear with me.

 

The mentioned, intverted L shaped, antenna is actually the electrostatic antenna. This antenna is used to determine if the overhead line is supplying power, and uses electrostatic induction to do this. It can be found on all shinkansen series (though on the JR East shinkansen series, E1系 and up, it's location is recessed into the roofline (for the E1系~E4系 it is found at the end of the first and last car, not too sure where it's positioned on the E5系 and later series) and therefore only visible from an elevated position.

1067mm AC and AC/DC stock uses a similar setup for the antenna (DC stock doesn't need one, as the lower voltage allows the sensor to be directly coupled to the pantograph), though it comes in various  shapes:

No it was a chap from Florida who had amassed quite a collection in a few years (he was pretty young at the time) and almost opened a Japanese model train export shop.
