The revised versions are now listed on N gauge information for August release.

What did you order or the post deliver?

The red and cream ones to go with other DMUs I have.

Three parcels arrived today having paid the HMRC ransom. Tomix EF30s from MTP and HS, compared to the Kato version, the Kato version is more shiny. The Tomix has lots of parts to add. Both look similar apart from roof details. The Tomytec derelict factory looks good and will fit in to my industrial scene. The third box contained three Tomix Kiha 16/17 series cars. Garage will be dry lined this autumn so construction can begin. Malcolm

    Crazy Auctions / Prices Thread

Surely the description does not match the photo. The 157 series is red and cream used on the Izu peninsula and sometimes the Imperial car was included as the line linked Tokyo to the Emperor’s holiday retreat. We never ran the 157 series on Tony McDiarmid’s Shin Izu layout as they had been replaced prior to the time scale of the layout. Agreed price ice seems high for an old 165/153 series EMU. Malcolm

    Kato - New Releases

Thanks for the replies and video link. The Seven Stars crossed a local train on the line in a cab ride video but this was before the current closure. Lovely train but too modern for my layout.

    Kato - New Releases

Does the Seven Stars route include the Tateno switchback?

    Kato - New Releases

May purchase some Seki 3000 wagons as I can weather over the markings restricting these to Hokkaido.

    Tomix - New Releases

Lucky for me and my finances, there is nothing in the Tomix releases that would suit my Kyushu layout. I have 2 581 series and the 12 car 583 is too large for my proposed layout.

Kato 58 and 28 series DMU cars arrived today following paying the HMRC ransom. Lovely models which come fitted with buckeye couplers which will couple to Tomix TNs. Jumper cables to add to the cab ends and other detail parts. Older style decals/stickers are also included. Will see how these compare to the Tomix series and hope to post photos later this week. What did you order or the post deliver?

Tomytec 04 - 100 arrived today from HS plus power chassis. Trailer chassis arrived earlier this year. Interestingly one car lacks the second bulkhead so is in effect a trailer car. Am I correct?

What did you order or the post deliver?

E mail from HS today suggests C54 and D52 are delayed for sometime.

What did you order or the post deliver?

Expensive month ahead. Kato 58 series plus Micro Ace 52 series 2-8-2 not holding breath over the latter. Tomix series 10/17 series re- issues.

Hi, The coaches that I ordered with the C57 were 1 Suha 32 2 Suhafu 32 and 1 Suha 33 which makes up a 4 car set that can be made larger if required. Malcolm
